Improving the Country #1
We keep on undermining our own political system. We keep on bashing those people in the elected seats, truth is isn’t it YOU who elected them. Well, of course not all of you, but still, ranting wouldn’t make any difference. The problem is whether it’s you or them who is on that seat, the system will not change if we are not willing to change it. Yes, it starts with you. If you cannot follow simple mandated law, how would you expect people in the elected seats follow mandated laws? So, let’s start up with 3 little things you can do and see for yourself if it’s possible to maintain this and make it a habit and start making the change you’ve been longing for in your government.
1) CROSS THE STREET AT THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. Easy enough right? Yes, all you have to do is to cross the street at the assigned pedestrian crossing and nowhere else. It’s quite tempting to just cross the street anywhere especially if the pedestrian is far from you or there are no cars going by, or if there are no street officer looking around, or if you’re too lazy to walk up that foot bridge. It’ll take quite some time to get used to crossing at the proper area but it’ll reduce the traffic quite a lot and also reduce the risk of accident. Just imagine if all the people will be crossing at the proper pedestrians; less traffic interference, less to no accidents, no jaywalkers and more disciplined municipality.
